Hi to all - I'm back home and very psyched about painting again. It was just the trip I needed. Here's a new dog to add to my grouping for the upcoming show in May.

This is fabulous. Great reflected lighting.
ReplyDeleteThis one is really nice. I love the color in the shadow side of the dog's face. The more I look at it, the more striking the composition is too with the diagonal S shaped shadow leading one direction and the dog's gaze leading the other.
ReplyDeleteWhile this is a very nice dog painting, if you could see my Mango (the dog not a painting) you would burn this. I am willing to rent him out for modelling.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great guy, I really love how the bright light is hitting the top of his head. Barb
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Karin. I just love the way the light relects off of him or her......Glad you had a nice time away
ReplyDeleteThe lighting is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteI love the lighting - beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite of your latest group Karin. Just love the light and sense of aliveness here!

I'd missed it, but if you look at the black on the coat it looks like a Scottie dog's silhouette facing to the left. Karin said she didn't do it on purpose, but...
ReplyDeleteI love this one! He looks so cute and you can feel the breeze.
ReplyDeleteThis is soooooo cute! I can feel the wind thru his coat.
