I've been wandering, driving, looking around for the past few days. Despite it not feeling like fall, the light has changed, the shadows are longer - there's a glow in the evening hours, just before the sun sinks - a time I call The Golden Hour . This little bit of blissful life was one of my discoveries on the backroads of Georgia.
I should have known that you would be as good at landscapes as figurative. This is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shirley. That comment means quite a lot to me. I want to paint everything.
ReplyDeleteThis is just absolutely gorgeous. Such a mood! I love it when a painting strikes a real mood.
ReplyDeleteI, too, like to paint a bunch of different subjects...still life, streetscapes, landscapes. I am so glad to see someone as accomplished as you doing all sorts of different things. I was hoping I was not diluting my recognizability or market value by having such a varied subject library.
Another really wonderful one!
ReplyDeleteKarin, I think this may well be my favorite....and that is a hard thing to say! You are really all about the light aren't you? The purple/blue pops through the trees above the house just about make me jump for joy. This painting is pure magic.
ReplyDeleteI think this is wonderful too, keep going Karin...like EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you doing different things, Karin. Adds perspective and scope to your artwork as a whole, imho.
