When I'm considering a painting of a museum patron, most of the time I'm either in love with the art itself or the people I observe. Of course I love Rembrandt's masterpieces, but I adore this woman. And her museum gift shop bag. All of it really.

J'aime l'atmosphère de votre peinture... Effectivement on peut ressentir l'intérêt qu'a cette dame pour la toile qu'elle admire.
Une très belle oeuvre.
J'aime aussi l'harmonie des couleurs.
Gros bisous
I have been enjoying seeing your series of paintings, but this one just blows me away! Wonderful!
Your work is always wonderful. I like this one too. It reminds me of my mother in the National Gallery in Washington DC near where I grew up.
Great detail on the frames, Karin. Bet that took some time.
I love these museum view paintings that you do. This one is my favorite!
