I spotted this old church on a town corner in Beaufort, South Carolina - a charming place to visit, best known for that fabulous house in The Big Chill. This piece will be in the grouping for my upcoming show Here Comes The Sun, and also one of three I submitted into the Edward Hopper House for their Annual Small Matters of Great Importance. I live in the next block from this former church. It is now an art studio for the University of SC. Your rendition is spectacular. Love it!!!
You have such a beautiful way of getting the light and all those beautiful, rich colors. Love this!
Hello Karin:) Love this beautiful church. The red roof is stunning! Great job:)
The red on this church roof really pops! I love the painting - beautiful composition!

beautiful work...
the use of contrasting red is enhancing the beauty...
I probably saw this church when I was driving (or rather Kathy Cousart was driving) around looking for Jerry Stocks house!!! You crystalized what makes this building special, and it simply glows. You inspire me so much!
I'm loving these architectural pieces as much as I love your human figure pieces. There is always so much magic in your paintings.
That jewel-like shadow is sooo beautiful.
red roof makes the painting! Slammin'!!!
