"16 Patton"

8 x 8"
oil on panel
sold

A new painting to be included in my upcoming show 'Here Comes The Sun', opening September 14th at the 16 Patton Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.

Just so happens the corner building in this painting is the very same gallery, early in the morning - at the corner of Patton and Lexington.

I love the beautiful light that you've captured in this one Karin!

What a great painting!
The light is wonderful, and I love how it carries both a nostalgic and urban feeling at the same time!
Hmmm... looks like Asheville might really be worth a visit!

I agree with Linda...you've really captured the feeling of the sun coming up in the early morning hours...just lovely.

Congratulations! That is an excellent gallery.
I used to live in Asheville and desperately miss it. Thanks for the image of my ol' stomping grounds.
