Adorable Min Pins, Happy holidays :)
You are absolutely right. I am going to get one. Your work is.....astonishing.
or cats...:)!
Nearly impossible to be unhappy while painting our furry friends.
Wonderful composition and color, Karin! Hope you have a peaceful holiday season.
Happy Holidays to you too! Can't wait to see more paintings soon :)
Now , I am planning to paint a dog soon.
Look how cute they are together, having each other's backs! Or maybe they are just so curious that they don't want to miss a thing! Such a beautiful painting Karin. I've not seen a subject that you haven't handled beautifully. Kate and Allie are no exception.
I enjoy your posts so much! Thanks for this blog! This is a wonderful painting!Have a nice Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Patty
Just beautiful! Great dog portraits - hope to see more :)
Wonderful painting! The light and shadows in this is so beautiful and I love the attitudes of the Min-Pins and their compact little bodies.
I just painted one of my Moms dogs, How right you are!
Your dogs have always had "that look" and they always have "those shadows" that make your work stand out - great as usual.
Your series of puppy portraits just reinforces my overwhelming urge for a new dog in my life. Your paintings are just wonderful - they provoke smiling and feeling good!
I completely agree with that sentiment. And I could look at YOUR dog paintings forever, and never get tired of them. You really capture their spirit. Wishing you a Happy Festivus, too.
I had to forward this to my niece who is the mama of two female 'hooligans' named Tequila and Tanqueray. She was so shocked when she saw this painting, wondering , "when did they pose for this?"
Great job on this one, Karin!
The composition is so clever and I love how each dog is facing the opposite direction.
Adorable!!
