Wonderful painting! The light and shadows in this is so beautiful and I love the attitudes of the Min-Pins and their compact little bodies.
I just painted one of my Moms dogs, How right you are!
Your dogs have always had "that look" and they always have "those shadows" that make your work stand out - great as usual.
Your series of puppy portraits just reinforces my overwhelming urge for a new dog in my life. Your paintings are just wonderful - they provoke smiling and feeling good!

I had to forward this to my niece who is the mama of two female 'hooligans' named Tequila and Tanqueray. She was so shocked when she saw this painting, wondering , "when did they pose for this?"
