For my good friend - from her visit to the Musee du Louvre, in Paris, an artist painting the masterpiece 'Atala Portee au Tombeau', by Girodet-Trioson.
Karin I marvel at how you make small dimensions read as big paintings. I must explore that. You must have precious friends that you would paint beautiful paintings for them! Love your sense of color and composition.
Beautiful, as usual! Great color! I'm surprised they still let artists do this. I was busted in the Boston museum for having a ball point pen out and writing with it. The guard gave me a pencil to use.
I think what I like about your museum paintings is that you do not copy the masters' paintings as they are, you still use your own style and they convey successfully. I'm a fan!

"You should keep on painting no matter how difficult it is, because this is all part of experience, and the more experience you have, the better it is... unless it kills you, and then you know you have gone too far." ~ Alice Neel

"It's what you carry to an object that counts." - Andrew Wyeth
