This man I love. He's as real as it gets. The painting before him, Edward Hopper's "New York Office", seems to evoke long-ago memories.

The Hopper painting seems to be casting a glow on the floor, where the gentleman is standing. I love the detail that he is holding his glasses in his right hand to look at the artwork. It almost gives the sense that he does recognize the woman in the painting. And the colors of the figure with the artwork makes it a match in heaven! Makes for a Rockin'great Show! Bonne Chance!
Fabulous, Karin!
Hi Karen,
I just wanted to say that I love your work and have wanted to buy from you in the past. Unfortunately my bids were blocked as you don't ship to the UK.
I am a photorealistic painter . . my website is www.njcox.com
It would be good to hear from you re the possibility of buying a painting and shipping it to the uk.
I have bought various paintings from my good friend M Collier in California.
Best wishes
Nigel
What a dynamic combo Karin! One of your best!
He looks like an old cop to me. I just love how you captured his gesture. Great painting.
I agree, great gesture. He is a classic. I reelly love your paintings of people in museums.
Excellent! I get the sense that this gentleman is looking through a window into Hopper's world, maybe pining after this woman or maybe remembering a past life in the big city. Very effective.
His airbags went off.
